What interests me especially about this internet spook-story is that it's based on fact. Disney actually DID abandon a large theme park fairly quickly on an island under somewhat mysterious circumstances and to the day intrepid urban explorers travel there and have video of extremely creepy crumbling statuary and even lights and music winding down with time.
Add a dash of the bizarre and the real life curiosity becomes a very compelling modern urban legend.

This looks amazing. I wish they'd make this into a real movie, but I highly doubt Disney would allow this to be real.

It's not directly related, but if you like this kind of story possibility you should check out an old Animal Planet series called Lost Tapes
They're sort of like Blair Witch meets Creepypastas. (Yes, the video is faked...but it looks pretty convincing!)
