Goody, sensing hostility, swiftly pulled out one of their trusty gingerbread shields and stepped forward to defend their two friends.
Just in time as well, as they were soon assailed by what appeared to be baby corn projectiles that exploded, scattering its kernels all over.
"(Baby corn!?)" Chili exclaimed.
"W-we were just passing by, we mean no harm, please stop attacking usssssss~" Goody frantically sounded as they continued their defense against the corny barrage.
"Or we may be forced to take... proactive measures," Star added.
"Um, maybe let's not add oil to the fire?" Goody protested.
"Well, that's up to them to decide," Star replied chirpily as they prepared their move.
