My grandfather once told me that we (him, my mom, my brother, and I) could count William Wallace, Alaric and Boudicca as our ancestors. I'm not sure that all three were ever proven to be related, but either way IΒ think your skill as an artist does justice to one of the last Celtic heros.

He is not a myth or legend, and he is not a hollywood icon. He was a famous historical patriot and warrior. There are monuments of him in scotland. This deserved a wikiattack!

William Wallace inspired an entire generation of Scots, and pretty much inspired Scotland ever since. He was viewed as a rebel by many in power, but to the common man he was a god. Rather than being a general on the hilltop shoutin, "Send in the infantry!" He was the firs one in ere. His career started when he married a lovely girl an' the English murdered 'er, an' dat's when 'e just went off the rails!! It turned 'im into an absolute war machine! William Wallace sent a clear message to the English. He said, "We're not goin' ta take this! We're goin' ta com inta yer lands an' we're goin' ta do ta you what you've been doin' ta us fer 'undreds of years!" He was a well inspired man who generally fought fer what he believed in, an' dat's what makes him great!

did you guy's know that in actual Scottish history William Wallace isn't just a legend, but he is honored to this day as a Scottish national hero, a patriot, and was also a Scottish Knight who (at one point in time) actually lived, and did most of the things that were portrayed in the movie "Braveheart"? I know this to be fact, because he had two brothers named Malcolm and John. of these three Brothers, I am descended from one of them for my family tree leads back all the way to their father, Alan Wallace. Another thing that proves my ancestors were from Scotland is that people from Ireland and Scotland are known to have fairly hairy arms, along with the red and/or blonde hair. Scottish and Irish men have also been known to be giants in physical strength, weight, and height. I myself am six foot, ten inches tall and I'm not quite finished growing! so there's a bit of history for ya. enjoy!
