Of Mice and Men, anyone? You know, there was a storyline like this from the comic. Except the two girls were boys, and Carl killed the psycho kid. Carol doing it surprised me, and it was heartbreaking. Honestly, I thought Lizzie would try to kill Judith, then be killed by Carl.

You probably saw something like this coming then? I haven't read the comics >.<

I heard rumors. When Lizzie tried to smother Judith, I pictured Carl putting a bullet in her head.

Love it, I cried when she killed Mika. She was my favourite character, and then Lizzie killed her, and then Lizzie had to die and I was like,
"WHAT?" Through tears. "NO! Huh...?"

As soon as I saw her sister dead I thought they have to kill her LIKE NOW and to think she was going to do the same to Judith :S its a shame though because Lizzie was an interesting character but I wouldn't let her near anyone after what she did

yes it was an emotional scene not the least of which was that carol killed Lizzie for doing the exact same thing she did to Karen..

technically no. It was not the same thing.
Carol killed Karen and David to stop the disease from spreading, she was trying to protect everyone, but it didn't work, Carol had realised what she done was horribly wrong.
But on the other hand, Lizzie killed her sister because she didn't think it would matter because she would still come back, Lizzie didn't even think what she done was wrong at all.

But as anyone who knows anything about the law both from ancient times to now it is the deed/action that was murder from both of them. motive only comes into play after the conviction and in the penalty phase of the trial. Murder is murder no matter what one may believe, and I will also disagree with Carol's reasoning cuz she did not know at the time if anyone could be cured and still went ahead with her killings. she is the one who took on the role of executioner without knowing the facts of what was wrong and how/if that mutation could be cured. and we all know it can be otherwise Maggie would be looking for a new Glen. so whatever her reasons for killing Karen it was still murder cuz now no one will ever know if Karen could have survived the infection since that choice and decision was taken away from her along with her life by Carol.

I agree, Carol at least was doing what she thought was best for her group. I don't think Lizzie fully grasped what she did though. I like Carol though, she went from being this quiet character who was just kind of there to a women who lost literally everything but changed parts of herself for the better and pulled through for the group. Even after what happened in the prison and she was kicked out for the groups safety she still came back when she was really needed. I have to say she is portrayed well by Melissa McBride and I really like her character.
