Poet,prophet,and a spiritual leader of the Haku-Hasin from the time just before the Mnuah(Female dominant society)-Prosteas(Male dominated society) conflict (a.k.a. the Hasin pan planetary civil war) A tireless pacifist whose warmth, sincerity,kindness and good humor won her many followers in the Unity party of old Hasin (The old empire had collapsed generations before,over extension I suppose)And Kahl's vision and egalitarian ideas made her a natural for the Unity party's head (and a chance for the Haku-Hasin people to raise themselves up into a more enlightened,free,and happy people)Sadly,a jealous political rival had her assassinated and this resulted in the tragic wasteful M'nuahian-Prosteasian war.
Later Kahl's daughter Eashiaes ended the war and united the people of Hasin.

I wanted her character to express a genuine sweetness.(not cloying or goodie-two shoes self righteousness)
The Lady suffered for her people,and is remembered among her people with great love.

At that time Hasin women were treated rather shabbily in a lot of areas on Hasin(their home world)After the economic collapse of the old empire there was a rise in fundamentalist,nationalist and chauvinistic behavior(which almost destroyed the Hasin people),and some of the women's groups went to extremes like "men are to their servants for a change" and so on.
All Anghita wanted was for ALL Hasin (and all beings) regardless to be equal and free,and with the women leading the way for all.
Kahl believed in love,mercy,charity,to give to others and not ask for anything in return, to love all life,and for all to have a chance at happiness.
(I wish I was one tenth as wise and brave as that great Lady.)
We Earth folk could learn a lot from this Lady.
