A good man, honest and hardworking, who put the needs of others before his own.( the steel driving machine would have put a lot of his fellow workers out of a job)Even though it cost him his life.
Who wouldn't like such a selfless character?
I wish I was one tenth the man John Henry was.

His story was in one of my littature books when I was in school. John Henry was defiantly an insperational character.
