Description
A scene from one of my favourite movies,"Oh brother were art thou" by the Coen Brothers.A zany take on Homer's Ulysses in the 1930 deep south.
On the run from crooked cops and crazy Klans men ,the chain gang escapees and their blues guitarist friend find respite in the ruins of a plantation and it's adjoining cemetery....
Left to right; Pete,Ulysses,Delmar,and Tommy.
If the boys aren't too careful, they may have to r-u-n-n-o-f-t!

I love that movie, it touches so many things.
It's silly, sweet, and rather magical. (not unlike Walt Kelly's "Pogo", but with human folk instead of critter folk)

I am a big fan of this movie not because it is a good movie but, I love the song they play. I believe it was called I am a man of constant sorrow.

Oh, there were lot's of the "old Timey" songs there.
I love the movie, and the music was like an old friend.(my parents were folk music fans in their youth, my Dad loved Josh white and the "old Timey" music he grew up with, and growing up in the South a lot of these old songs get deep in one's blood and bone as the old folk would say.)
Some of the characters were like some folks I grew up with as a kid and it had a good hearted mischievousness that reminded me of Walt Kelly's "Pogo"
