The heavy rains in California yesterday raised the rivers and flooded some streamside vegetation. The water was very calm, so the flowers here seem to float in the skyRelated content

The reflection is perfect, awesome and the colors of the clouds with the yellow flowers fit so great! Love your composition and I agree with on the flowers to be like floating in the sky !!!

WOW! This is an incredible picture and absolutely beautiful. I like this because it is so dreamy as the flowers do in fact seem to float in the sky. The flowers are so vibrant and the contrast provided by the sky and water transform the image and create a surreal effect, but ever so peaceful. I simply love this picture.

Thank you so much! It was a late afternoon drive in the foothills, and I grabbed the camera as an afterthought, but got some nice pictures in some "normal" places. Probably will post a few more soon (very busy these days).
