THIRTY SONG CHALLENGE #6 ~~~~~ [Black Horse and the Cherry Tree - KT Tunstall]

Well my heart knows me better than I know myself
So I'm gonna let it do all the talking.
I came across a place in the middle of nowhere
With a big black horse and a cherry tree.

I felt a little fear, upon my back
I said don't look back, just keep on walking.
When the big black horse that looked this way,
Said hey lady, will you marry me?

But I said no, no, no,no-no-no
I said no, no, you're not the one for me
No, no, no,no-no-no
I said no, no, you're not the one for me

Yes! Another painting completed for my 30 song challenge! I know it doesn't seem much being that it's only the sixth one, but I still have a few others that are part of the way finished and are almost completed too. It gives me a little more confidence in completing this beast of a project.
But anyway, I'm very happy how this painting turned out! ^_^ It seriously took me more than 5 tries to get the anatomy of the horse right! For some reason I kept making the proportion of the horse pony-size and not regular horse size. Even still he might be a tad small for a "big horse," but then again I've never really worked or rode many horses, so I'm unfamiliar with their averages sizes compared to people. >_< The girl came out nicely though. I was able to capture the image of her pose that I had in mind (which is rare because normally I end up changing the initial persons pose like a hundred times before I'm satisfied with the result on paper...my poor mind never gets it's true ideas captured perfectly on paper ). The cherry tree could've used a little more work, however I'm terrible at drawing trees, and dabbing all of those flowers onto the branches took most of the effort in this painting. Maybe I'll come back to it once I gain more perfection in drawing trees. lol
