I extremely love the eyes!
I can't resist, when I see eyes being black on the white part,
I find it VERY unique and captivating!

I would've never thought of doing it like that, had I not been playing on the character creator to Soul Calibur V. It actually let you alter the white of the eyes so , I changed it to black, when I had created her and its like , Woah they stand out so much now XD Thats how her eyes got that way XD

That and I was experimenting with Sai, well the free version of it. Some of the tools it offers work really well for me, same with PS. Thank you :3 I was aiming for a pseudo realism painting style just what I aimed for still leagues outta my grasp, Though it getting closer!

I still need practice with Sai. I keep trying different tools XD maybe I should just stick to one type and learn to use them better. There are some really good photoshop brushes on here too! I just like drawing with Sai because it has that thing that steadies how you draw. I have wobbly hands, haha.

I didnt know it had a stabilizer o.o Ive been trying my darndest to keep my lines unjagged, doesnt help the tablet picks up the slightest movement. I think Im sticking to both they both offer me something the other doesnt in terms of how I can manipulate a part of it. Hopefully you can find a balance between them. I just started using it, it just takes time to sit there and play around with it XD

Thank you, Ive given the first part a watch but haven't gotten to the second or third yet. I mostly used photoshop up until a few days ago, my Fiance finally talked me into using it and trying it out XD

What's so great about every program is that they share a similar layout. You don't need SAI per se, but once you understand clipping layers/groups, getting your colors down packed and your blending up to par, you can create awesome works of art. I only use PS for my effects and color adjustments, the pen tool in PS sucks and I don't have the time lol. Once you get that feel and want to practice, just experiment. If you mess up, fine. Just keep going. I wish I could work magic in PS in the good ol' days, but I'm lazy and PS takes a lot of RAM... Oh and another thing when blending shades and stuff in PS, do not use blur, it sucks unless you know how to tweak it. Most artists use custom brushes or the chalk tool for blending or smudging. There are lots of videos about how to blend smoothly in PS on YouTube and even here on dA. I also took pointers from a digital masters artbook I have in .PDF format. I used their tips and tricks and applied them to SAI. its really awesome.
If you need any more help, tips, or whatever, I'm here.
