FULL VIEW PLEASE!The gown is based on a still existing gown from around 1860 preserved at the Kyoto Institute. It consists of two parts, the skirt and the bodice and should best be worn over a hooped skirt and with a corset underneath. (Both not included if you'd like to buy it)
The fabric is a wunderful light green changing almost to a kind of icy green. It is a soft cotton satin. The skirt is about 5m /5.5 yard at the bottom. It is equally pleated at the waist thus ensuring a nice draping above the hooped skirt.
The badice is completly lined with creme cotton. You can either lace it in the back or insert a zipper here (customer's choice). The flounce around the neckline is made from a wonderfull stitched lace in matching green.
There are fitting mittens, a shawl and a small bag, which I still have to take pictures of.

I lOVE the fabric but the hoopskirt kind of makes the shape look odd.
