Finally done with my Contest Entry! Q^Q There was a golden border, but the scanner was too small and I had to crop it...//CRIESBut here she is! I decided to draw Cici88 's beautiful character Velleda!~ <3 Because I decided to use watercolors and she is a water user! ////7//// She was super fun to draw and I'm very happy with how the picture turned out despite my evil scanner's plan to ruin it. ;v;

Yup! ^^ I wasn't any good at watercolors ether for the longest time. I just had to practice with them a lot before getting the hang of them.

You watercolor painting so pretty and cute. I understand you had a lot of practice with it. I tried a lot too but I'm no good with it. I use poster color but I can only paint scenery using it. ^^

I see.. Maybe different people had different way in making their artworks. I'm really bad with water color. I tried to color a character using water color before but it turn out messy. Oh my~ I'm sure you can make a beautiful painting.. ( ´ ▽ ` )

Yeah! I think like that too. Its hard to use mouse to draw. Maybe you can try wacom. I don't have wacom but most people on DA use it.. XD

I say vacation, but it's more like going back home. xD Right now I'm in Ohio because of sick family. but I actually live on a sail boat in Florida. We've been in Ohio for the last 8 months so I'm really excited about seeing everyone down south. >///<

Well, she's my great grandmother, just turned 93. We're just kind of staying with her until she passes. :') She is doing real good right now though, still up and about and can still go shopping.
Aw, D': That's sad. The rain can be such a meanie at times. I know the storage room has good coverage from the rain at least. I'm more worried about all of the bugs...What if they ate the canvas!? 0A0

Yes, its because there was crack on the ceilings and it was a rainy season. Of course bugs is #1 enemy. They loves to chew and eat paper and canvas. But I hope your drawing safe. O_o;
Thank you. My first language is Malay. Since I come from northern part of my country, I had a bit funny dialect in my Malay. I could understand Indonesian too since they are close to my language. I live in multiculture community. Some of my family member could speak Mandarin and Indian. But not me. : D

Thank you. My country beautiful in its own way. We had tropical climate here. It's warm and humid all the years. We had no season. I really wish to go overseas too. I want to touch the snow. They look pretty in the picture. TTwTT

Oh my~ My old house had many cockraches too. They breed really fast. I once climb up the closet because I think its chasing me. And they chew my books too. luckily my new house has no cockroach. I hope cockroach in Florida not that bad.. TT^TT
Yeah. I see snow in picture and movie. But I don't know how hard to deal with it because my country don't have winter. Huhuhu.. I wish we could trade for winter too. TTwTT

They are almost that bad. Well, I live on a sail boat, and when the tide gets really high, like on a full moon, they tend to get on the boat. My mom is very skilled at paralyzing them with one hit of her shoe. 0.0 The worst part is waking up with one on you... I woke up with one on my arm and ended up chucking up at the opposite wall with as much force as I could muster at 3am.
XD I guess the hardest thing to deal with is having to shovel it out of the way so the cars can get in and out. It gets pretty heavy to move if it piles up. Other than that, it just kind of stays until it melts. xD

OMG! That was awful. I can't imagine how you deal with all those crawling cockroach. I wonder how you live on sail boat. Sorry, I don't know about your culture. Your mom really brave. She's awesome.. XD
When I was a child, I hold the cockroaches with my hand and throw it at other but now if they confront me, I will climb on something and hit them with broom. XP
That was hard work. Oh yeah, the snow cover the roads. I never though that. To stays until it melt must be take many times. But I still thinks snow pretty. Winter must be really cold.. XD

It's only happens sometimes at least. xDI live on a boat, but it doesn't really have anything to do with culture though. My parents just bought a boat and we moved on it. xD Oh yeah, my mom is. She hates those bugs with a burning passion. XD
I don't really mind them myself. I think they're interesting. My brother can't stand them and tends to do the same as you if they come to close, he freaks out and orders me to catch or kill it.

Luckily its only happens sometimes. I see. I though it was a culture. In my country, there's some people live in a wooden house that built above water. Oh, your mom so cool. And you don't mind the cockroaches? You brave too. I had experience where cockroach get into my shirts. Since that day, I started to fear them. Haha.. My brothers like that too. The funniest thing is when he jumps to avoid that cockroach while chanting some funny words. X3
