Description
Voltorb exploding in the Power Plant, drawn in the style of the TCG artwork.
I really liked the Electrode artwork Ken Sugimori did for the Pocket Monsters Carddass Trading Cards, so I decided to redraw it as Voltorb instead. The Carddass Cards were released from 1996 to 1997 and featured unique artwork by Ken Sugimori himself.
Additionally the background is that of the Kanto Power Plant included in FireRed and LeafGreen, scaled up and converted to an oil painting.
