Description You’re in there, all safe, pressed tight inside some skin that isn’t yours.

This is one of my favorites in my Moleskine right now. All done in Prismacolor colored pencil, used Verithins for the little grass details.

This drawing brought back so many awesome memories! It reminds me of a children's book that I used to read all the time called The Red Wolf by Margaret Shannon. It's about a little redhead princess named Roselupin who is locked in a tower by her overprotective father. On her birthday, she receives a box of red wool with magical properties. So she makes herself a red wolf suit and uses it to escape from the tower when she wants to. It's a short book, but I love it so much!
The different colors in the fur on the beastie compliment this piece beautifully. And the red of the girl's hair against the yellows and greens of the background = AWESOME!
