It's a Playstation 1 sprite game called Lunar the Silver Star Story.
In the game, the bad guy captures the four nearly godlike dragons and uses their bodies as power sources for his ultimate weapon, hooking them up to wires and feeding tubes.
I basically did that to Nel.

And Kiryuu's doing the same thing to Nel. He's so mean.
Nah, this is the ultimate. On top of that Neltharion feels the pain of the now penal colony and trash-dump that Azeroth had become since President Knight arrived with the rest of the UNSC. And to make Neltharion subservient to him, Kiryuu feeds the Earthwarder a narcotic that makes him numb to it. Basically a very powerful and addictive version of Morphine for godly beings but even with worse withdrawals. All the while the drug makes Neltharion's body continue to produce the energy Kiryuu needs to keep the planet running.

Wow, Nel was better off dying like the way Blizzard killed him off in WoW. I don't really care for Warcraft or its various beings, but that's pretty dang messed up to do that to another living being.

The type of drugs he is on keeps his body sedated, keeps the agony of feeling the planet's pain away, and makes his body dependent on Kiryuu's supplies to give him more of the stuff. He's hooked on a powerful dose of basically morphine.

Which means if anyone attempts to save him, well, I dunno if you know about the withdrawal pains of a morphine addict, but the withdrawal symptoms of morphine generally include a whole range of physical sensations such as: uneasiness; abdominal cramps; diarrhea; nausea; vomiting; insomnia; chills; coryza; rhinorrhea; severe bouts of sneezing; lacrimination; perspiration; muscular spasms and twitching; involuntary kicking; acute aches in the abdomen, back and legs; cold and hot flashes; restless sleep; goose flesh; mydriasis; increases in blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and the temperature of the body.
