Yup, I've gone insane. This image HAS NO CONTEXT. No meaning. Nothing. Except a platinum Neltharion fighting Old God tentacles.Make up you own crap, I'd love to see it.
But at least Neltharion gets his crystals back.

Can't believe I've never seen this before.
Here's my take:Β this is an alternate universe where the titans weren't a bunch of short sighted idiots and upgraded Nel to be immune to old-god corruption before they left.Β The platinum color is part of said upgrade.

Not really...the only reason why Nel is platinum is due to a little in-joke of making Nel a part of the Kiryuu Universe by giving him the ability to use Technomancy. Β Before I took away the silvery look, all Technomancers when they connect turn platinum.

Been messing around with Titan artifacts I guess, those things turned king Magni of the Dwarves to crystal and Neltharion into platinum. I don't see any crystals on him though.
