Phew its finally done ^^! I'm really pleased with this (people also thought this was awesome on livestream so I decided to upload it). As some of you may know the *Jurassic park saga have been and always will be my favourite films of all time. Mainly because it was one of the first films I saw in my younger years.Jurassic park 3 was also one of my main favourites out of the saga mainly because it had *Spinosaurus in it
. So heres some fanart of the films and creatures which really inspired me to draw in the first place.Artwork (c)myself

Wow. This is amazing!! I get goosebumps just looking at it...I'm not against the Spino at all, and this is just...creepy. In a thrilling kind of way.The way the rain is pelting it, and then falling off...gosh its amazing!

I love Jurassic Park! There's a fan movie released, called Prime Survival. Yep, made by fans. Even if I hate Spinosaurus(it is not as intelligent as Rex!), I have to admit that this is awesome! Doesn't look like the one in the movie, but that's probably because the Spinosaurus there is still a juvenile. This is probably the adult version. Cool.

The bigger the dino the more brainless it'll be XD due to mass and bodysize. I like the spino more mainly because they look more like crocodiles and are more interesting to look at then an adverage t-rex. I didn't wait to copy the movie's design I try to avoid things like that and use my own image from my mind

the jurassic park logo is NOT a stock image, it is copyright to Universal pictures you can't use that image unless you have the correct permissions.

Dude chill out. Plenty of people use logogs when they make TRIBUTE fanart and as long as no commercial gain is involved and you credit properly - it's fine. The big companies don't attack for personal FANART. If they did, there would be no Iron Man fanart because if you want to play that card then technically all fanart is a violation since the characters themselves are copyrighted. You don't see Paramount going after people here that draw Iron Man movie fanart and use the logo do you?

look, I over reacted, but she got me when I used a picture from an anime in a piece of art.

Using a logo is one thing, using a full picture from something is another. Fanart is fanart - putting a single full picture/scene or multiple pictures/scenes from something else altogether in a one big piece with a spiffy background is not something you can call your own at all. So she is not at fault here. She drew the dino, I watched her. She merely wanted to pay tribute to one of her favorite series/movies. She did the work, adding the logo was just her way of showing others that that is what she was inspired by and giving tribute to. And she did not claim ownership for the logo - she gave credit where it was due.
I'm done now, at least you realized you overreacted. Time for us all to move on now and drop it. Thank you.
By the way, I'm not attacking you - I have nothing against you. I just don't like seeing negativity where there is no reason for it. And using the excuse that she went after you first is just immature. It doesn't make it right for you to do the same. If the circumstances are different, it makes for an entirely different situation. Keep that in mind for the future :3

No problem. I understand that getting your head bitten off for being wrong is hurtful and frustrating. I always try to be civilized and fight my battles with reason and logic. Being deliberately mean and hateful gets you no where - only brings upon a giant screaming match where there is very little chance of there being a positive outcome.

see, if I hadn't have had so many people flaming me for that art I wouldn't have reacted as immaturely as this, but everyone seemed to hate me for using images that weren't my own. But thanks, at least I know there are some reasonable people out there

Everyone makes mistakes. People need to learn to be more forgiving and let things go. What's done is done and past. Flamers are just immature kids who don't have a grasp of knowledge and understanding. No logic. No reason.
If we don't maturely handle things and let people know where they are at fault in a civilized (and helpful manner) or offer a way as to how to help them fix the situation - then how are they supposed to learn and grow?
I've dealt with a lot of immature people in different situation around dA and it's always the same. And in the end they finally back off because they realized that lashing out the way they do gets them no where when someone like me uses logic and reason - and honesty against them. I never set out to hurt someone or put them down for mistakes like these. There's no point in swinging blindly
