Another illustration of the battle of Mongisard for editorial Sol90. We prefer to represent a previous situation, when the king prays in front of a reliquary that contains remains of the "True Cross". Baldwin'sversion is based on the Ridley Scott's movie.Photoshop and Painter.

Amazing composition, I really like how all the flags and faces are leading to the central subject of this illustration which is the piece of the true cross. Doing so really highlights it's importance to the European crusades during that era.
