Jon Snow and the Rangers of the Nights Watch flee from the Skirling pass after being spotted by a Wildling warg. Speedpaint in two hours at my wifes behest. Not at all happy with this one, though she thinks it is good. Too bright and blue for me. I couldn't get the depth of field to look right, and kept bringing detail back into the distant mountains. I added blowing snow to add some visual interest.Related content

I like the blur of snow, it makes it look like an action photograph. The image itself is lovely, though it honestly took me a moment to spot the rangers. The distant mountains and sky drew my focus immediately. But I like the pensive feel of the scene. I can tell they're running and are in danger, even Snow isn't waiting around. Love that eagle in the sky, very nice detail!
