that's entirely understandable. a LOT of people keep assuming she's a maid. I'm actually worrying I'm being SUPER annoying constantly telling people she's just in a waitress uniform, but part of that is just that it gives me a chance to mention the anime so more people might check it out.

I don't think it's annoying. It's a favorite character and you want people to know what she's wearing.
Believe me I've had the same issue with some artists who have drawn my favorite characters. Like I can't even count the amount of times professional artists in the comics have drawn Wonder Man's eyes wrong and it drives me insane. I actually did a tutorial for people to follow for when they draw him or anyone with solid glowing eyes.

actually it is a maid uniform , that is used for waitresses, and its also called a maid uniform in the descriptive links, <3 , not to mention the comment was made in jest ( ie calling someone who is huge , tiny ,, calling a small child a munchkin )

also, I'm a bit confused by your explanation of it being "in jest" because the examples you provide are conflicting. calling a tall person "tiny" is not the same as calling a small child a munchkin, and also I don't see how calling a child munchkin is in jest because that's not a joke. I feel like you don't understand how jokes work and just use "it was a joke" defensively to defend anything you say.
