Oh wow... Taurus is only just now (in 2010) starting to turn their bad reputation of really unreliable crappy weaponry around. Also? Taurus bases their weapons off of other manufacturer's frames! They are, again, only now starting to come up with their own designs.
Smith & Wesson, however, has a reputation for reliability and a hell of a pedigree behind it. Damn fine revolver, sir. Smith & Wesson, Dan Wesson, and Ruger FTW!
