I have a theory and it might be wrong, what If when Shadow thought “I should never have left” what If that’s sonic thinking that he should never have left the temple thingy to see his soulless mother Bernie. Cause it just came to my head when I saw Zielo is Gigi’s status for the next tmom page, but then again Gigi did say in the description “remember tmom issue 9” just a thought but I’m probably wrong 🤔

First Silver sounds exactly like me on the last page. Now Shadow sounds exactly like me.
Thats nothing new for me but I am stil surprised.
Personal, private story. But I think I know what Shadow means and feels.
You may ask: "Why the heck woud you go back to prison and want to be tortured every day ?"
Well...the truth is (at least thats what I figure)
There is no hope left. - I hope the title of this issue doesnt mean that the little bit of hope that was left gets crushed.
For Shadow, it's gone, "nothing matters." It doesnt matter ro him if he's here or in prison, since either way they can die and both places/lifes are horrible. I mean, everybody you love dies or is a soulless - and then dies. Sonic went berserk amd missing, Silver passed out and Shadow had to and could barely save them, and is competely energy drained. So yeah...eitherway they are pretty much screwed.
I think back then, when Shadow tried to escape, he hoped to be free and for a better live. Now he is here.... chosen to save the world, stuck with "these two idiots", who bring only more trouble and can read his mind - and one went missing after betraying them and is who knows hos big trouble. I bet Shadow would prefer to stay alone and wishes he never got into this mess, if he only knew.
So yeah....no wonder Shadow turned out the way he is. I dont blame him at all. (Cuz I am a lot like him)
Sorry for the long text. I just....why the frick is Shadow just the most relateable character ever ?
Like I said, its a private story but I know exactly how he feels and what he means.

i really hope they don't give up.
i strongly doubt that the issue cover was false hope, and that sonic would probably have to drag himself out of this alone. if they were to truly give up, here and now, they'd probably never see sonic again.
none of them are in a good mental place right now.
i hope silver stays his positive mindset. sometimes naivety is the best way to go abt things.

Oh yes, Shadow. It would be much better sitting in a cell all day, every day being tortured for reasons unknown to you until you eventually go crazy. It's a moot point anyway since Zielo pretty much destroyed the world (unless I have that wrong).
