Description
Life in the Fast Lane
No time to stop and look around

Life in the Fast Lane
With your feet on the clouds and your head on the ground

Life in the Fast Lane
Going up and then down, and up again, till there is no more

Life in the Fast Lane
No way out, even after you walked out the door

Life in the Fast Lane
You must go faster to always be ahead

Life in the Fast Lane
You are either afraid, or that you are completely dead

****

The current economy status makes me feel we all might be just a little too dependent on our way of living, on living in the fast lane. Well, maybe it just me?

this is a cool photo of the human rat-race. the colors on the sky is a little "sick", probably due to digital limitations. i still use films mostly, and such disturbances are terrible to my eyes.

however, i realize that digitals are improving day by day, so i'll probably go for an nikon d3 one of these days.

nevertheless, your style is great! suerte!

A distorted reality we live in indeed. And perhaps humbling times ahead... Very striking image. The low perspective makes the guy a giant - shadowed only by the city around him.

The fish eye lense gives this such an amazing look, and I love the reflection on the street. The current state of economy surely is something to worry about. People are too busy and don't enjoy life enough, if you ask me. It's kind of sad.

I have to say, this is definately one of my favorite pictures from your whole gallery.

I love the reflection.
And the colors are very "business" (other than the clouds, of course).
Somehow the lens makes everything look fast, too, so that helps with the title.

Good concept and poems. They are always so nice to see with a picture!

I think more people would capture the 'Fast Lane' idea better. You know - crowded street with a slow shutter speed and a person standing still in the crowd from an overhead shot. Bird's eye, know what I mean? I think that would do it better justice.

Can't disagree with your level of skill though man! Gotta keep that in mind too! ^^

Very nice shot. Also the wet ground makes the picture look more bright. i liked the way you shot your photos (also the eiffel tower one what do you use to make it look like a fish eye? Is it the lens?)

It's a fisheye lense. 15mm

You can also get it from editing the picture with distortion tools in Photoshop.
