Description
Coma Alliance's Russian concerts were extremely inspiring, had to start drawing fanart as soon as I was able to concentrate on drawing again. Working on this piece also helped me a lot to overcome the usual post-concert hangover.
Mechanical pencil, about 30x20 cm, 12 hours of work (really fast for a doube portrait!). Reference photo by Alexandr Grigorev from Rock Star Cafe's VK group.
This is my first traditional portrait since 2010 (I've been doing digital only for all this time). Turned out way better than I expected, quite pleased with the result. Although at first it was a challenge to switch my brain to working on actual paper instead of digital canvas.
