It's always flamey in the comics when she's flying/activating her powers. It wasn't flamey in the cartoon but I like taking liberties with the designs
I admit it doesn't make much sense for her hair to flame here, since she isn't flying... However in the cartoon her emotions control her powers, so I thought that the fact that Raven allowed her to paint her nails made her so excited flames appeared

Hm, I think they didn't mess it up in the cartoon, it's probably animation reasons (like they gave Raven a leotard instead of her original skirt because it's easier to animate, I think it's the same with Star's hair)
But when it comes to fanart, there are no limits, and I can do what I want yay

Lazy animators
Have you noticed that the newer disney movies arent as well as some of the old ones (like monsters inc. Or nemo)
I actually enjoyed Tarzans animation better than frozen or tangled

I think Frozen's animation kinda sucked
Like there was all that hype about the realistic snow simulation and Anna having 420,000 strands of hair...
But then they just copypaste the two main characters?? And to me, every face looked so plastic-like in that movie.
Also
the budget for this movie was $150 million and i didnt even see a single ear hole. where was the money going???
I wish they went back to 2D animation, what's happening to 3D nowadays is a disaster

I feel like if the animators doing todays 3D switched to 2D it would just get worse
With things like emofury and stuff out there, they'd draw like 3 arms (front, back and side) put in a code and have the computer animate it

Yeah, I was talking to this old guy I work with about how I uch it sucked
He said none of the charscters looked like their species and the special effects blahblahblah
I can never listen to him for very long because he goes off on old guy rants
But he added "the dragon looked cool though"
Which made me think/say "well before the they made the movie they had a budget, and they spent all their time/money on making the dragon look cool as fuck but after they were done with that they realized they used up all their resources and just threw together a crap scenery and character outfits/costumes"
Only now do I realize how insightful I can be on my lunch break
