this is the first big landscape I have ever done.

Absolutely love it. This color choice can only be described as courageous. And it works so well. It pushes so many bounds of hues, seems impulsive and care-free in its presentation, but like a fine ballet (or a Michael Bay film) it is in the strenuous chaos that the image shines so beautifully!

thanks!!! I have done a lot of smaller landscapes and love them. it's the way the oil pastels interact that makes the small ones so great. still working out the kinks for larger ones.
