Description
This picture was inspired by The Pied Piper, a book by czech writer Viktor Dyk (1877 - 1931). Here's the story: The pied piper comes to the town of Hamelin to kill the rats there. He falls in love with Agnes, who accomodated him in her house. She returns his love. The pied piper manages to kill all the rats with the help of his magic flute which attracts all living creatures. The councilmen refuse to pay him his money. He also finds out that Agnes is expecting an unwanted baby with her ex-lover Kristian. After this he leaves the town. But his love to Agnes makes him go back. He can't find her and then he learns that she killed herself because of the grief. He decides to play his flute and lead the people from the town to the abyss. He hopes he'll meet Agnes again.

I was inspired also by the czech film also called The Pied Piper. The film was shot in 24 hours during the New Year's Eve in Prague in 2003.
