So I finished my Warrior of Light cosplay in time for Connecticon. It was indeed a joyful experience and I had loads of fun talking to everyone at the con. I think cosplaying as the Warrior of Light really reminded me why I love to cosplay. I get to spend my weekend walking around as a male who has long beautiful white hair, holds a sword and shield and wears some pretty cool armor. Where else can you experience such a feeling?It was fun to get away from reality and play the part of a beautiful male knight. It really is a magical feeling.
It took about a month or so to make the costume. Lots of hard work, blood and sweat hunched over on my carpet with hot glue guns, super glue and needles for sewing. My body hates me for making this but I am so happy I did.
The costume is about 90% done. It's missing a few pieces to it which I will finish up in time for Otakon 2010. I can't wait to wear this costume again. I had so much fun. It's been awhile since I have worn something close to this. Good times.

Thank you n_n and it's always good to know that a costume looks nice on me lol I started this program called P90X where they have you working out every day following a schedule. It's just intense. It's helped me gain muscle in the right places and lose body fat. I am still on the program and working my butt off. Hope to get awesome results so that my costume will fit even better in the future!

You warrior of Light costue is nothing short of breathtaking. It does match his costume in most aspects the only difference is that he is a male and you're a female but you hide that well wit the breastplate....... Oh thats why they call it that....... Anyways if I hade to rate this I'd give it a 5/5 Can't wiat to see what you are planning for the next anime Boston

lol If only I could be a guy but then again I would miss out on the the knowledge of being a woman. There is so much to learn as a female. But thank you for your sweet compliments. This costume will be a favorite of mine for awhile. It's not too uncomfortable to wear and fun to cosplay in. If I had more money, I would of made it out of better material but cosplay is getting very expensive. Don't be surprised if I do wear this one again for Anime Boston only because it will be hard for me to make anything new while in school and with no extra money/time.
