Description
Although she loved her newfound wealthy lifestyle, Tamina Thornton often felt incredibly homesick. Jeremy was the best husband she could possibly ask for, but his co-workers were stuffy old farts, and they were always hanging around the mansion as though they had nothing better to do than discuss stocks. She missed hanging around casually with her sister, even missed her mother's nagging. So occasionally she would drop by her old home, where her sister, Jennifer, was almost always very busy editing her valedictorian speech for the millionth time and stressing about college applications in general.

She would briefly leave her baby daughter, Scarlett, with her mother, head up to Jennifer's room, and interrupt whatever academic activity she had engaged herself in. Despite the intrusion, Jen was always happy to see her sister, and together they would sit on Jennifer's bed and banter, laugh over the most ridiculous things, discuss boys (Tamina was always especially eager to hear about how Jennifer was doing with her "no-good" boyfriend, Adam - he was a sweetheart, really, but Tam still couldn't believe that her brainiac sister had gotten involved with a high school dropout), and have a good time in general. It was such a nice break from having to be so dignified all the time.

I felt like drawing Jennifer Upland and Tamina Thornton, Sierra's and Scarlett's mothers respectively, to establish their basic colors. They are cuties omfg
I feel so bad for them, knowing how their lives eventually turn out
