One of the first mermaids I ever created, this is still a big favorite of mine & is my most popular art printPRINT now available here on dA
The process used to create this artwork involves layers of photos, digital painting and applying many textures to achieve a finished work with a strong mythological feel while being visually realistic. I like my work to look almost as though a faerie has been caught on camera ...

This mermaid seems to be real ! All the details help us to imagine this creature. And the colours help us too because there is harmony between them.
