Clip studio, formerly known as manga studio is the best software out there for manga and comic book artists. Think photoshop but with tools to aid drawing comics easier. They just had a sale on their website recently, it might still be available at a lower price. It's a great program, brushes emulate traditional tools very well and you can add new brushes to the program as well, the perspective ruler is amazing, being able to create files for multiple pages if you're working on a book is fantastic. Great tool. As per usual, i recommend getting around knowing the traditional stuff first before moving onto something like this. A few years back I switched to drawing digitally, I'm able to save a lot on paper and time, it streamlines the process very well. I like to do the pencils digitally and then I print out the page or the piece in non retro blue and ink traditional. On this job however I decided to do everything digital.
