Hope you enjoyed doing this one - it's always fun to see what an artist can come up with based on a vague concept, and you do have an excellent talent for creating lolita clothing. Running with the bat theme was a cute idea, too!
And a spiffy haunted mansionhouse with dynamic angles as well.. with obligatory grandfather clock, of course (is there a hidden beaker, or is my imagination just creating one for me?). Thanks very much for the hard work on this great commission. ^^

Well, these are the boxes.. I don't have the heart to throw out the boxes, and the boxes take up a lot more room than the figures, so they've gotta go somewhere. 
Haha, $400 to ship Detolfs, though? How far away is your nearest IKEA? And I think I prefer Fabrikor > Detolf (I don't like dusting all the time), but very expensive, sadly.

Heh, yeah, I've been through that, too. I had AmiAmi and Mandarake boxes available for any purpose, before I went and recycled about one metric ton of cardboard.

Im buying cheapo bookshelves off target, I cant even find it in store, but I shoulves bought some cubes instead maybe
its a 5 shelf simple bookcase and I just ordered some hardware to hold the glass in and had the glass cut and bought off of lowes
and since oneof them fell I just ended up using this flimsy plastic you get from poster frames and had to frame it with molding to not bend its definitely super ghetto DIY lool
lol keep those for reference Paisley needs them with black or purple outline instead of that red

My own setup is still a work in progress (I have tons of figures currently packed away in their boxes), but I do regularly look at MyFigureCollection for inspiration. A lot of people there have some really nice, envy-inducing figure displays.

You need to start up a custom shelving/organizing business so you can pay for your own displays, haha.. Though, for mine, I think I can probably get the furniture itself. I just don't think I have quite the sense of planning to maximize my space the way those people have.
And ideally the Paisley floor plan will be a useful reference for many future commissions!

Yeah I would like to do both, buy the displays and organize them, plus add some things if needed like some shelves for the empty boxes, hopefully with glass to prevent too much dust
I 'm going to have to do that since I now plan on opening all my figs lol, I heard it would be bad for them to be inside the boxes as the materials need some air to not deteriorate, then there would be no point in keeping them new
tho the Tohka from date-a-live fetches a pretty penny nowadays, I was surprised to see it for so much on amiami as well as ebay

Yeah, that's been my major concern with opening a lot my figures - it's not long after you do that when they begin collecting dust, and once that happens it's a lot of effort to keep them clean. So I definitely want to make sure all my display cabinets are fully enclosed.
And wow, Tohka really is expensive, huh? Kurumi also went up in price... I know Yoshino was going for high prices for a while, too, but then they re-released her.
One day Paisley would like to have her very own Robotron arcade machine.. I almost added it to the floor plan, but I decided I like it better as a long-term dream for her. Can't make it just a fantasy dream home, after all.

well the video said make sure you get a basting brush to dust off the nooks and crannies, tho that would probably take a whole day if you got 60 Mios
I've been watching a ton of videos on woodworking and I recently discovered how to diy sliding glass doors, I just need to invest in a bradgun and a reliable hacksaw tool thing that can give me perfect 45 degree cuts as well as find out where I left my pocket hole jig

Haha, apparently I keep getting even more Mios without realizing it. I hear a lot of people say that those soft makeup brushes are good for dusting figures, though maybe a basting brush would have a similar effect?
And you super into carpentry.. Have you always done stuff like that, or has the desire for good figure shelves just motivated you this way?
Poor Tohka kind of gets shoved to the background after a while, doesn't she? Though if you're going to sell her, maybe sell her while she's hot, lest she wind up like Nodoka. Poor Tohka.
I had thought about putting it in the living room area somewhere.. You know a thing like that would hold a place of honor in Paisley's house. yeah the maskeup brush has worked wonders for me, tho I bough those 45 cent painters brush, but a basting brush would work fine!
and yes carpentry and woodworking are my second hobby I did buildΒ a desk using a door I got for 10 because it has a ding on it

With all your carpentry skill you're just like Kanna, the best Tamako Market character.
That's because that Date A Live main character is a two-timer.. Anyhow, selling on ebay isn't too complicated. Write a simple listing, get paid through PayPal. When I did it I mostly just looked at the way other sellers were posting their items. Of course, you could also just sell it the way you sold those other figures here, as that seemed to be straightforward enough.
Yeah, bedhair Paisley with her glasses and clothes askew is the prime adorable factor of the scene. Besides, maybe she would be dreaming, or maybe the giant wrapped gift is actually there but isn't what she hopes it'll be.

Haha, carpentry was a big part of Kanna's character (there are even the sounds of power tools in her character song ;D).. Don't you remember when she built a house for the dumb bird, but the bird couldn't fit because he'd gained too much weight?
And yeah, I much prefer where the main character in an anime picks one girl and stays with her, though that's awfully rare.
It's in the ideas, though we now also have the tree-trimming one to think about as well..

I agree.. I got tired of harem shows quickly, because they almost never have any real conclusion. Kind of pointless in the end.
And the one we talked about the other night, with the retro video game tree and Monet sitting on the floor shaking a present wrapped in science flask paper, while the Pac-Man Christmas Special plays on the television.. I'm not sure if it's specifically tree trimming (Paisley might be doing something else), but that's the one I mean. : O

Maybe it's the similarity between KyoAni character designs, but every time I watch Choi I keep thinking of Azusa. But Kanna, with that amazing monotone voice and intrepid attitude.. True marriage material, haha.
