Description
Mountains Tartaros is very specific region of planet Artemis. Mountains are isolated by vast desert from all sides, precipitation is very low, and vegetations grows only in the highest part of mountains. Moutains are therefore evolving like island with many endemic bird and animal species. One of them is Red-toothed Rabbit (Leporuthus ruberdentia), which is only rarely visible in the day as pure night animal. Its behaviour is reason for large eyes and shaggy fur (to feel comfortable in freezing dry nights). Populations numbers of this common species in Tartaros mountains (in parts with at least some vegetation cover) are unknown, because almost no research on this species was carried out.
