Funny, I had 2 cats back at my mom's home and there were not crazies and destruction going on at all. They were rather always busy with some sort of insider cat business. Noisier? Really, in what way?

As for the noisy aspect, when you're asleep at night, all they do is howl and catterwahl. Also, when you don't pay attention to them, they give you a mouthful, as if you you truly messed up somewhere and they want to add in their two cents in meows XD!
