Ugh, I never liked Dave, he was to me 'meh cool'. But now, the Strider charm got me, ladies and gentlemen, I have fell for Strider. Damn him to hell! >:T

Β Honestly, I always liked Dave. He's actually not all that like-able in the first chapter though. Nearly comes off as the 'I'm cool and popular and better than you' type of guy.Β
Β His character really seemed to develop with the later chapters. He's one of my favorite characters now; and there's not denying his Strider charm. *wonk*

Because the design of the shirt is so simple, it draws the eye to all the little subtle things, like the realistic wrinkles or the intense but underplayed (very Dave) facial expression.
I'm not sure if this is the reason the symbol and glasses are missing, but it's definitely a good side effect.
(Also, I'm a sucker for the timetables and always will be)

Actually, you're completely right!
I made this picture for a little game advertisment I had to do for an application.
Now this advert was really PACKED with text and little screenshots from the actual comic, so I didn't want Dave himself to look ... well, "overdressed".
And those timetables gave me one hell of a time so I'm glad someone likes them, heh.
