This is my very first wallpaper. And of course it's with Lisa Edelstein, known from House MD.It took me half of the night, but i'm very satisfied.

I actually thought a lot about that, but I were scared that they would get as bright as the background, and maybe fade out??

If you use Photoshop, I would explain these so - you have one layer with color photo, and second(above first one)layer - B&W photo, and then you change capacity of B&W layer to near 20-30%.
Hope, GIMP has something similar))
