Here are some of my favorite Barbie movies growing up! Fairytopia was personally my no.1 and I've rewatched the whole series so many times. It started my love for fairies and wings and my fascination of flying.
Recently I found my love for Princess and the Pauper again and it threw me right back in my childhood. Hence the idea to draw this. Also I'm pretty sure they made me gay. Happy pride month.
And It's safe to say Rapunzel's brush inspired me to become an artist.

Princess and The Pauper has been /such/ a closely held Barbie movie in my heart, it's basically a represenation of me and my best gal friend irl. As I am a blonde, she's a brunette. :b We used to always reference the movies and act them out.

Ohhh, this is nostalgic. The old Barbie movies were the best. They had all the real struggles, I'd even say. Elina and Azura look awesome -- it's been years, but I think that's her first movie look? I love the rainbow effect in her eyes. I had the Rapunzel movie on my Mermadia disc, I think, or was it Magic of the Rainbow? Oh, I can't remember, haha. Everything just makes me so nostalgic!

It's interesting how Barbie's Rapunzel and then years later Disney's Rapunzel were both artists. Barbie's Rapunzel is super underrated, but I always find myself going back to Princess and the Pauper every so often.
