Description Most of the people swamping the Strausburg Railroad this past week were there to ride Thomas the Tank Engine, but this is the loco I wanted to see! Although, I have to admit, Thomas did put on quite a show of smoke and power shoving his train up the hill.

No. 90 is a great locomotive, I have a bunch of film photos of her the last time I was out there.

I was out the years ago when they had PRR 1223 and 7002 running, it was very cool seeing real Pennsy steam.

I guess they have to do what they can to make money, but that whole Thomas the Tank Engine has to cheapen the experience of going to Paradise.

Cheapen yes, but it certainly is a hugue source of revenue; you could hardly get into the town because of all the crowds!
