Am I the only one who kind of feels like Carlos is acting weird for a scientist lately? Like his explanation was a bit half hearted, and as the masked army was real, he really hadn't seen this mirage before, and also his conversation in 'first date';

and also (paraphrasing)
"I guess I've got to go save Night Vale now"

or something like that. It just seems like he's acting a bit... un-scientist-like? Bad phrasing I know, but it was my first few thoughts in First Date and Light on the Mountain.
