The Sugar Plum Beanie is a cute little creature that loves sweet treats. Be sure to leave her some on Christmas eve to help guarantee sweet dreams (and to distract her from taking your gifts).I was in the mood to do something really, really cute and Christmas related. I had a lot of fun working on this. I used these illustrations for my Christmas cards this year, as well as my journal css for the holiday season.
I tried out some new coloring techniques and went for a little more realistic look to it. I really like how it came out, and it makes me think of children's book illustrations.

Note: The photo used in the top background is from my Christmas tree last year, and the one in the bottom is of last year's mantle decoration.
