OKAY SO THIS WAS HILARIOUS.~Hime11 and i were playing glorious Amnesia together and we got to the water part and we were so scared XD
So I used up all the books with false starts trying to get to the door and whatnot, so I only had one left
I went to throw it to distract the monster but I accidentally left clicked and just dropped it ;U;

Sounds like Pathologic, though that's horrible not from a scary/ hard point of view but rather because the world is so depressing and everything is dying and you might not have enough money to buy food to survive and oh look you need to sleep or you'll die from exhaustion and you'll probably have to sell your only gun to buy medication and... T_____T

Oh you couldn't play it all day. It's bad for you. It's one of those games are art type games where you really get involved in the mindset of the game, so if you play it long enough you actually begin to feel physically exhausted by the world and actively dread playing it again but you know you have to or the town will die.
By the end though it had burned me out so much I just let it get purged. The gae does things to you...
