RAVENThis is old but new .. pointless as hell .. but I want two raven wing tattoos on my back and so that drove me to draw something like this …
……..mmur raven wings *I saw a pic of a chick in a magazine ***fancy that*** and thought OOH SHE IS KEWL* .. hence >>>>>>>I drew her.
………its out of proportion.. it sux but meh ..

Even though the peice is very busy none of the elements detract from the composition as a whole.
It seems to me that this is one of those peices that will catch alot of eyes, but the viewer will tend to place alot of their own personal thoughts into the meaning of this one...
I am no critic, but I know what I like...

This is so cool. Her lips are awesome, as are her wings. Do you use filters and brushes in Photoshop to get the scratchy/antique look? Or do you use paint, etc.?

having had a peek through your imperial gallery, i havnt seen such fine things in awhile, i always admire someone with such freehand sketch style, but its not just what the hands do, it has to flow from the mind an through the heart, for some this is difficult, myself included i couldnt attempt such, but more to the point you have a wild collection of fine art here, i'm kinda sad really i didnt stumble across this before, its rich an sometimes seems very personnal, the story of the guy getting the tattoo is to your credit, some pride indeed attacted to that. its hard to pick one an make a comment here, i love your style an way of things, however the raven here is somewhat supreme, i also thought of big black oil like wings tattoo'd across my back, but since now its cover'd anyhow i thought of an inverted pair comming out my chest, something for the future maybe, anyhow enough ramble all i really should say is devine art much flare, hope you make thousends more, an i shall continue my journey further through your minds eye gallery, thanks there submitting such beauty.

thank you there an i hope your feeling better, you got me thinking about tattoo's again, i think for me its a summer thing, winter is very, for me - sheltered like a bad temperd bear, having not stored enough berries. anyhow dug out a picture of my work so far, on my back, an you talked of cost of tattoo'in, well i was so lucky i lived with a tattoo artist for sometime, an watched her skill burst into life on peoples flesh, thankfully i wasnt charged, it was one of her first back peices, i was her canvas, in fact still 'am just she has taken a break from it all, so it remains unfinished as yet, although one day the addicition of ink will flow once more.

the picture isnt the sharp'est but you get the idea, why i cant have the wings on my back, the tattoo is a copy of 1900 painting by A.Mucha, called Emerald, that the top half anyhow, where it slips below the belt line, there are my three angels, one a Brom copy the other two freehand designs, love anger hate, there names, so thats about that only that i was quoted at around 2thousend pounds in cash for the work so far, much love to Jai the tattoo'ist an i hope you pick up those needles again, much talent anyhow thanks agian for the reply, an sure your gonna make those pennies for tattoo's your ART CAN'T BE IGNORED, some break gonna come your way, of course only if you want it too, so take care there, love.

IT DOES -NOT- SUCK! I love her eyes and hair and.......those lips....*kisses* Her face is so beautiful and I love the distortion type bits over the wings(it's neat that you use it in almost all of your art, a trademark of sorts). It's so graceful and moving and lovely.
