I really love the color pallet of this piece. I also really love that you used vectors and the detail that you captured with them, from far away the colors blend together as if they were a painting, but there are a few issues that I think could enhance your work further. I think some kind of background would make the piece pop out even more. May be you could of added some harsh shapes like triangles or rectangles to contrast between the very triangular vectoring. to further add onto this you could also add in some color to contrast again to your portrait. Around the mouth I'm not really sure if that's a mustache or the skin tone. I think you could break the color up a bit more if that is a mustache and make it darker like the hair on his head. other than that it is a very wonderful and talented piece.

Nice drawing! Really well done, there's so much detail in this drawing! The colour scheme I think really emphasizes the shapes and brush strokes, instead of using potentially distracting colours - a good strategy for this particular style. The style itself is really awesome, I love how you used so many layers of colour for the shading, and the lines and edges are all so crisp! Really amazing job, technique-wise. Now, I have a little bit of criticism. Firstly, his moustache seems a little wrong - I'm not quite sure how, but it seems too light. Initially, I wasn't sure if it was a moustache or just shading. Secondly, the texture lines in his ear look a little bit like the texture you used for his hair. It's not much, but his ears look a little furry on the inside.

So, that's all the criticism I have! It's a very lovely piece, and I have to especially compliment the hair and eyes, which look very real! I also love the clever use of colours, like I said above. Very few colours, but the overall picture still seems bright! Looks like a sepia picture, actually. Anyhow, this piece was lovely to comment on, you're a talented artist!

This is a very interesting piece. I quite like the shading, since it differs greatly from generic blur-shading. Just a little side note, though, the hair looks a little static. Perhaps for your next piece you can pay a little more attention to making loose strokes to create that sort of uncontrolled nature of hair. This looks great, though, keep up the good work!
