Update: I've finally removed the damn globe from the corner

Artist Interpreted: Remidios Varo,
Title Piece: To be Reborned, 1960

My Title Piece: Rebirth

I chose to interpret Remidos Varo's work as I admire her
style. Her pieces are rife with esoteric symbolism.

I interpret Varo's piece, To be Reborned, 1960, as a
piece depicting a rebirth of ones self, soul, or spirit.
In my piece you see this process of the old self being
reborn into or merging with the new self. Instead of a moon,
as in Varo's piece, I chose to use a clock to symbolize the
concept of cycles as cycles are also tied into births and rebirths.
