Polite, mild mannered, friendly and cheerful, Kohaku is a boy that acts like that, a young lad full of hopes and dreams. He can be a little reserved about his own problems, often thinking that he would be a burden by sharing them, however, he is always eager to help in any way possible. His passion for football rules most of his life and he could without a doubt talk to no end about it.

Bio:
Raised by a family where his father insisted once and again to enforce traditional values, Kohaku had a normal childhood filled with small responsibilities, making friends and playing with them. As time passed by he was able to tell that the loving ways his father bestowed upon his mother and his younger sister were never addressed to himself, and although it often made him feel insecure, his mother's unconditional love always comforted him.

What he didn't know was that his story began before he was even born, when a young man and woman fell in love... the problem is, that man was not the one he had known his whole life as 'father', but instead a young american soldier stationed in japan, of fair hair and blue eyes, and amidst their love a child was born. The problem is, her family did not approve of this, and forcing her into an arranged marriage, the child grew up not knowing of his real father, even when he was born with eyes just like his...

As years passed by and Kohaku grew, he could tell he looked nothing alike his 'father', but brushing it off, he always believed his mother's words, as she explained that their surname, Shimizu, comes from the eyes, blue like water, that run in the family... though, he had never seen anyone with eyes like that in family pictures before yet he lived in the bliss of ignorance...

Until barely a year ago... Having returned home for the holidays, he arrived before he was expected, and making his way inside, he checked the mailbox and found a letter for his mother from America. Curious as teens often are, he checked the contents only to find out the secret his mother was keeping from him this whole time. He can still remember the yells and shouts and his sister's sobs. Sometimes he wonders if he should have reacted differently, looked for a way to make things end up better but in the rage and anger of the moment his mind blanked out and all he could do was run away.

Having to work odd jobs to make up enough money to get by... needless to say he wasn't living anywhere near a fancy place in town but all the money he got he saved so he could make it into kamenoko and graduate, so he won't have to depend on them anymore, on anyone ever again.
