“Lady!” Captain America address Nebula while he dashed towards her with his trusty shield in hand, “Your tyranny ends today!”

Captain America then hurled his shield at Nebula. Had his target been anyone else, his shield would have hit its mark with pinpoint accuracy. However, since Nebula wielded the power of the Infinity Gauntlet, she easily dodged Captain America’s attack. The shield harmlessly passed by the daughter of Thanos and then bounced it way back to the super soldier’s hand.

“I’ll commend you for your persistence,” Nebula answered Captain America. “Nonetheless, you’re going to have to learn how to live under my heel!”

Suddenly, everything seemed larger to Captain America, or rather he had become smaller. At the same time as he shrunk down in size, his body contorted itself into a more compact shape. Once the transformation had ended, all that was left was a high-heeled shoe that resembled the American hero’s face.

“Let’s see if you are a perfect fit,” Nebula taunted Captain America while he was in his immobile shoe form. However, as Nebula tried to pull the human shoe onto her foot, a bubble gummy smoke surrounded Captain America for a few seconds, causing him to become a shoe size incompatible with Nebula. When the daughter of Nebula heard some laughter coming a little distance away, she soon deduced that the newcomer, whose name was Silk, was toying with her.

“If you think this is so funny, let’s see how you’re feeling after I fracture this shoe into several hundreds of tiny pieces,” Nebula threatened as she raised the shoe above her head and smashed Captain America against the ground. However, instead of shattering, the shoeified Captain America bounced like a ball that would be used in Jacks. Nebula immediately knew this had to have been Silk’s work, too.

“I think there’s someone here who deserves that star-spangled soldier more than you,” Silk called back to Nebula. After another bubble gummy smoke engulfed Captain America, he then disappeared from sight.

Elsewhere on the battlefield, Agent Carter suddenly realized that one of her heels had been replaced by a red, white, and blue shoe. After further examination, she soon realized what, or rather who, was on her foot.

“Steve?” Peggy Carter asked in shock. However, Captain America could not answer back, since he had been transformed into an inanimate object.

“This is definitely not the way I wanted our reunion to go,” Peggy told Steve, even though she knew he could not respond back, “but you do still owe me a dance.”
