My favorite... I love all of your girls. They are so sweet. Vintage with a Pin-up flare. They are all so unique and stylish. I really enjoy looking at them. So sexy and classy. π

Wow. Youve captured the perfect 1940's crime novel feeling so simply. This is beautiful.
S'like Chandler.......y'know...but without the words.

"Trouble comes walking through my door... A brunette, as usual. The last thing I wanted this Saturday was another case; I was supposed to hang out with two buddies, one strapped to my holster and another folded in my wallet. But how could you say no to a damsel in distress?"
- Zack Falcon, Private Eye (I made that myself).
Lovely pic. Straight from the old film noir. Adding to favorites...

She was a pretty dame but clearly suffering from her husband's death. Being the gentleman that I was, with two shots of bourbon in me anyways, I offered her a drink. She refused and I got that distinct prickle at the back of my neck that said she had a case.

I've always loved the way you are able to turn a few objects into background by reducing their contrast in comparison with the central figure, yet keep them as an integral part of the image. I don't know if anything says film noir as much as that frosted glass window with the PI's reversed name (other than the distraught widow, of course), and the coat rack really gives an idea of the times, back when men wore those distinguishing hats. I kind of still wish men wore hats like that today. *sigh*

I like this one, it's pretty and it's simple, but the woman is clearly a stylized and modern comic noir woman, very nice

I really love your 'retro' style. The way you heighten certain characteristic and downplay others is very unique. In other words, nice how you do people's figures in this style. ^^ I like the background door with the film noir inspired detective as well as the coat rack which seems to always be present in those movies. Great job!
