Really? Don being the comforting older brother is quite canon to me. But I guess we all have our different views of them... Maybe there are some other pics in my gallery that you'd like better?

I think it may have been beneficial to bow Mikey's head a bit. But you did a fabulous job! I hate drawing characters tgether. It's hard and drawing a hug is even haarder.
I really like the coloring job you did on this. Much different than your usual white w/ colored bandanas, but I definitely think it works.
Is this a story illustration? I get the feeling there's a back story to it.

Well, trying out new styles every now and then is fun! Although I think I like that old style better...
No, it's actually not from a story. I just started drawing something and let the end result be whatever. But I agree, it looks a bit like it came from an angst fic.

The pose gave me hell. I hate doing poses. But it came out fairly well, I suppose...
And about the background - well, at first, I was intending to draw a "real" background, but then all the energy left me and I did something that was simple and fit the situation anyways.
