This was half of a project for school. The assignment was a picture with a poem somehow connected with the Great Depretion. Mabey one day ill get joygasm to color it for me.this was the poem attached
I cover up my shame.
My gut clenches in protest
as I beg for my life.
"A penny for your troubles, sir?"
Six words of torture.
To hell with dignity!
My stomach aches for food,
my soul thirsts for whisky.
I must have release,
an end to the pain.
