Description I have friends from all different religions, but not all their religions I agree with or necessarily like.
For example: Scientology. it's one most can agree on as retarded and stupid and just sucks the members dry, taking money from them. But do we hate the members of it? Not necessarily. I still think Tom Cruise is a sexy motherfucker and am probably going to go Mission Impossible 4 whenever it comes out.
A religion I personally disklike a lot is Mormonism, despite having quite a few friends that practice it. Why? Because it just seems outdated and ridiculous. South Park basically said it all. The weddings in the Temples just make no sense to me. Only Mormons can step foot into the temple, in fear that the dirty people might soil the place, so friends and some family members can't even be there to see you get married to your spouse. And don't even get me started on the short amount of time that passes before they decide on getting married because that is just ridiculous.
Also, THIS: www.exmormon.org/templex.htm
There's just a lot wrong with the religion from my point of view. Really, it's just an outdated religion and they need to get with the times. Also, their temples are ugly pieces of shit. ;-;

YES YES YES. I don't care what you believe--there are good and bad people of every religion. As long as you are a kind person and have good morals there's no reason for hate.

I follow a particular religion myself, so naturally I don't agree with some of them. But obviously it's wrong to hate someone, a PERSON, over something like religion. Religious warfare has caused so many deaths there is kind of no other choice.

We Christians go by the phrase, hate the sin not the sinner
Good to see not only we go about this c:

I don't like religion. I don't care about religion. But i'll let you be religious as long as you don't shove your knowledge about god in my face.

that's basically me when it comes to religion, and that's basically people who don't mind a fanbase for videogames or whatever existing.

One word: opinions.

opinions may differ.

opinions can clash.

you might disagree with someones opinion.

but you don't have to be a butt about it hoping to change their opinion.

so shut up and accept that people can have different opinions.

wait

this makes absolutely no sense now that i think of it.

I am not misjudging your beliefs, i guess... I just don't believe in what you believe. And i'm fine with you believing in what you believe in.

i wouldn't care if somebody's god was a half-eaten-rotten-potatoe. It sounds ridiculous, sure... This is a bad comparison actually.

I'm friends with a few people who don't like Christianity, but they've never attacked me personally for having a faith in God ^^ We get along pretty well I think despite our differences and different beliefs with things.

PeteSeeger [2014-01-05 08:15:09 +0000 UTC]

I am a Catholic. So many people tell me they hate my Church, not me as an individual. Until they have a conversation with me, at which point they hate me as a person. The problem with "hating my faith" is that the Church is all it's followers as a united entity. Therefore to hate the Church is to hate all those affiliated with it.

Hitler was a mix of northern Lutheran and the ancient Germanic and Aryan cults. With a sprinkling of eastern and western esotericism based off of the (now discredited) Witch-cult hypothesis.Β
